wierd..

by BellaJest @ 2008-06-27 - 12:51:02

So, this sounds really stupid, and petty, but I have plenty of time on my hands at the moment, so I thought...why not write it down?
Okay, now that I have built you up nicely, to be terribly disappointed at the terrible anti climax, here it is.
Basically, I was hunting around for my watch, cause I was just thinking 'hey, I swear I had a watch...why don't I actually use it any more?'
So, I tracked it down yesterday, and have had it on ever since. Thing is, since I've been sitting at the computer, tapping out terribly interesting *cough* ideas, I have had to keep on adjusting it, making it tighter, much tighter than it ever was before. So there you have it. I think my wrists are shrinking...
Plus, to back my argument up a little more, I can now get my thumb and my pinky (smallest finger) around my wrist really easily, something I know that I couldn't do before...
So. Am I going nuts?
Do shrinking wrists exist?
How bout YOU decide.
Seriously, and let me know about your opinion,
nuts/very observant
I sure as heck don't know!

End of Exams-->Summer, baby!!

by BellaJest @ 2008-06-16 - 23:06:19

Ok, so I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel-my exams are all but over, only two easy ones (touchwood) left, and a huge long summer holiday (ten weeks to be exact) looking bright and cheery on the horizon.
I can't believe how many things I have lived through in that time...
-my brother (the only one left at home apart from me) has moved to Canada to serve a french speaking mission for 2 years.
-my other next older brother (I have a pretty big family, btw) has returned from the west indies, having served a 2 year french speaking mission.
-my older brother after that (and not even the oldest) has gotten married (smack bang in the middle of my GCSEs) in San Francisco to a really great Californian girl.

and then I have to cope with feeling like an only child, rattling around in a big house, getting rather lonely.

and, oh yeah that's DURING my super important all consuming exams...

top that.

hmp.

Anyway, it looks like this summer is going to be one to remember-i'm going to a Tesco open evening on Wednesday, to fill on of their many vacancies, and i've just booked the tickets to go and see my sister in Ireland in a few weeks time, and I have the guarenteed two weeks in Cornwall with my family and friends, and my hardcore church camp (sleeping in ex army tents in a random field)for a week.

I want to work so I can save up to pay for driving lessons-I turn 17 next year, and so I can just have money, and pay for stuff...

My list of stuff I want to buy when I get a regular income (woop!)
-Games/films for my psp
-a refurbished ipod nano that my brother who is currently in California
-new and still cheapish makeup (making me sound very shallow)
-awesome inspiring Lord of the Rings-ish books to knock me off my feet and keep my reading needs satisfied.(there, I regained my honour...)
-umm...It'll come to me...

gotta go, family stuff going on...

ta (my current goodbye--just used it on my friend on msn! not on purpose...)

ta.

I HATE GCSES

by BellaJest @ 2008-03-31 - 21:48:16

At the moment, I am 100% willing to give up education (apart from reading) and go and work in Waterstones for the rest of my life. That might scupper my plans to be a vet somewhat, but as a 15 yearold, I am finding it difficult to see things in the longterm perspective at the moment. By the end of the week, I have to give in:
Science x 2
History x 2
Citizenship
Media Studies
ICT--the final grade is based on 100% coursework!!!

inside I am screaming my head off.
Does anyone share my pain?
I doubt it.

umm...today? (Saturday)

Me and my family went to a chapel workday today. It's where members of the ward clean and fix stuff in the chapel. I washed walls in one of the rooms and chatted to some of my friends as I did it.
We stayed for two hours, and then went home and had lunch. I had a cheese toastie (I love our george foreman!).
I have been ironing and hoovering and tidying my rooms for the last couple of hours.whenever I go into the kitchen, the cat and rabbit follow me from the door to the fridge, and back again!
My dad has been fixing the floorboards in the sitting room (it's got a tv and sofas in if you don't know what I mean) and has lifted some of them up. About a foot below, it is earth. Our house is quite old, by the way. I knelt down to look and could smell the earth!
